pilea and begonia

Mount Vernon, OH

I have a begonia (not sure on type --was a trade but they never knew name either) and it hasn't blossomed. I started it as a cutting last October and it is a big healthy plant. Does it take a while for it to bloom. It has the angel winged leaves and it has burgundy leaves with a silver cast to it.

I am anxious to see what color the bloom will be. Lol.

On the Pilea - does it get to leggy when it gets older. I have heard they do.
Thanks!

Hi Judy! I am doing fine. Your welcome and thanks again for the package. Loved it!

The begonia is a Rex Begonia. There are a few varieties that produce a fairly nice flower but for the most part the flowers are insignificant as this begonia is grown primarily for it's attractive foliage. the flowers are usually pink or pinkish red.
