Good job, Jo! Are you growing any Oriental lilies this year? More sweet peas are blooming, the heat is pushing everything.

Okay another thread zipped by. First from the last threadJoAnn your sun/shade beds are looking good as are all those pretty lilies. What is the white bloom in back of the bear, phlox?
Victor those IR pics are strangely very pretty in a sci-fi movie sort of way. Very cool!
Rama that is a happy sunflower for the start of summer, very appropriate.
D-nut I like those dwarf iris. They are like little jewels when the light shines through them.
Robindog that is a very nice pink lily and love the daisy.
Here are a few from the garden here.

LUV Marmalade ngam! Does it fade to pink?

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

D-nut it started blooming the first week of June. This pic is the faded color I think. Stays pretty orange peachy color. Nice and bright from a distance. New this year so we will see if it returns but so far a good plant.

nice pat - like the echi's i have a few of those and this will be the first year for them - flame thrower did not make the winter here, was only a little one from a coop.

the monarda is pink lace.

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

sorry to hear about the flame thrower wha :( Is that a new one? I'm not convinced that some of these new euch introductions are stable yet.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

you may be right dnut - i lost a few from a fall coop flame thrower, tangerine dream, and another one. i replaced one with a larger plant bought locally - watch it will be flamer thower:)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice shots. Love that daisy, Robin. Very cheery.

Which monarda, Bill? Nice.

Wow - like Marmalade, Pat. Not a typical orange but more of a fall color. How long do you have it?

Last - that JI again.

JoAnn it was worth the dash out to get those pics of that JI, so lovely.
Victor 'Marmalade' is new this year. I have pinched off the early buds that these new echies came with so they would beef up a little. Will see if they return next spring. I never buy little plants in the fall, never had much luck that way. Bill, 'Flame Thrower' is supposed to be a good one so you never know.
I like the water lily Victor, they are so pretty and that JI is just beautiful.
Was just out in the garden and got a surprise. Didn't expect to see this until next year.
The other two lupins do not have any but the blue one has a bud.

Very nice JI Victor
Pat enjoy your lupine

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. I'll wait for your report next year on Marmalade, Pat. Many of these new ones are duds.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

The 'Tomato Soup' echie I got in the coop is going gangbusters. I'm very happy. Waiting for 'Fragrant Angel' to bloom.

Loving everyone's pics.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I have to say that my clem, Franziska Marie, has the longest lasting individual flowers than any clem I have. Mine have been opened for weeks now!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

t-soup was the other i had the did not make it - and that was the one i replaced it with locally - thx jan for mentioning it:)

Thomaston, CT

Pat, tell me more about Hermione...love her. Bill, outstanding color on your rose...looks so nice on the white trellis....Jo, glad you got the raindrops on the JI...suits them! And Victor, that waterlily is a beauty. I have no echies blooming yet, dug most of them up last year, don't know if Coconut Lime is still among the living or not.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Gentle Hermione is a David Austin rose. Mine is own root. Pale shell pink color with strong old rose fragrance. Makes a nice rounded bush. Third year here. Fairly good disease resistance. Reblooms all season. Flowers hold up well in the rain, close at night.

South Hamilton, MA

'Pat Austin' is blooming well. Probably is happy because it is an own root.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I think roses look and do better if they are own root. Used to have over 40, but too many bugs that eat them here, only have five now. Here is another pic GH.

:) You're welcome, Wha.

Long Branch, NJ(Zone 7a)

Gentle Hermione is on my wish list. Pat Austin - I now have 2. One growing as a shrub and another one I'm going to train as a mini climber. All own root roses.
