I was very excited to add into my journal some new plants I purchased today from Lowe's only to have been thwarted by words that I do not understand.
I purchased two Forever and Ever Hydrangea's as shown here http://www.foreverhydrangea.com/info_pink.aspx and I would like to add the necessary information into my journal but am stumped as to which information goes where. In reference to the hydrangeas what would be the common name, cultivar, genus, and species? Is the location that which they originate from, where I planted them around my home or my city and state?
I sincerely would appreciate help with this and feel awkward even asking but I went so far as to look up these words only to become more perplexed.

Horribly Silly Question
If you go to this link & look at the top of the page you will see where it says:
Family: Hydrangeaceae
Genus: Hydrangea
Species: macrophylla
Cultivar: Double Pink

I couldn't find the 'Early Sensation', but found the 'Double Pink'.

The location can be anything you want it to be--I use it to track which of my beds I planted the plant in. Or you could probably leave it blank if you don't see any use for that field.
Also--this won't help you on 'Early Sensation' since it's not in Plant Files, but if you are adding a plant to your journal that is in Plant Files there's an easy way to get all the plant info (genus/species/etc) into your journal without having to know what's what. Look the plant up in Plant Files, then scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see a link down there to add the plant to your journal. If you do it that way, all the hard to understand info gets transferred automatically. You'll still have to add in things like the location, but all the names will be taken care of.
I appreciate both of your explanations. Thank you very much.
