Ear-wing.... not earwax.....and big black ugly ants..... and one of them are eating eating my plants!!! BIG TIME!

What can I do to reduce the amount of choppers on my plants?

my parents spray their plants with soapy water to keep bugs from eating them
Does it matter what kind of soap? bath bubble soap or dish soap?
It does not matter which. Dish soap is the one used by most everyone, however. Be sure to spray the top and bottom of your leaves. That should take care of your problem.
I mix 2 tablespoons of soap to 1 gallon of water. Pour it in a spray bottle and spray away. it won't hurt your plants, either.
Janemarie, lol on the earwax. Not making fun of you, just thought it might be something new to try for bugs.
I check my post the next day and thought earwax doesn't sound right...thats what i get for posting after i take my meds!!!
Earwig..... this has been an awful year. I always have some, but am completly infested this year. They've started to show up inside the house so I definitely need to figure out how to control them.
with slug you have a chance of catching them,,,earwig are fast little guy!
I have centipedes.
Oh I have those tooo...do they eat your plants?
