same weather here - going to pick up a couple loads of rock today to have some extra's - then down to the river for a quick dip!

Already hot and icky out there. Went out to do some spot watering since we didn't see any rain last night either. Temp is 81 degrees before 9:00am. It is going to be brutal out there with tropical humidity. Hope for a nice downpour or two but without the severe wind, hail and lightening stuff.

The NWS in taunton has issued a heat advisory, which is in effect until 6 pm edt this evening.
A heat advisory is in now in effect for northern Connecticut, northern and central Rhode Island and much of eastern Massachusetts. In these areas the combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will bring heat indices to between 100 and 104 degrees this afternoon.
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
A heat advisory is issued when high humidities are expected to combine with hot temperatures resulting in heat indices of 100 degrees or greater. Avoid prolonged work in the sun or in poorly ventilated areas. Also, drink plenty of water and try to stay in an air conditioned environment.

Clouds are building in more and more. Feels like it wants to rain but I do not see anything on radar yet. Was out for an hour deadheading and weeding a little. Dripping wet. Temp is only 89 right now but the air is thick and hazy. It is really dry out there, if we don't get any rain I will be watering by hand all day tomorrow.

I heard the heat advisory after I came in from weeding & deading....soaked & dripping also. I have been drinking water, but decided that's it for gardening....turned on the A/C, & will be reading a good book.

We hit 93. 81 and very a sticky 76% H. Had a brief shower while at the movies.

Looking at the radar I think it's going to miss us again, looks likethe one cell is dropping to the South and the one to the North is moving East

In the 90s, but thank heaven for a breeze. Did not have to retire to the room with a/c until after grocery shopping in the afternoon.
