Not sure I could put up with a biting cat. If it's while playing, that's one thing. But if he just bites for no reason, I probably would not keep him.

That's great, Sarge. Been dryer than normal here, but not terrible.

Heavy downpour yesterday afternoon but fine today & supposed to be cooler tomorrow.

I REALLY wish it would rain here. I am in morbid fear of my next water bill.

AYC, Wallingford bit you!!?? Osee bit me once, but I forgave him that one instance since he was still a stray and it was the first time I put my hands on him. But I have to say that if he or any other animal living in my home showed any propensity for biting, they would have to find a new home. I will qualify that though, if either of my dogs or the cat bit an intruder they would get a steak dinner!! A really BIG steak!

Yesterday's storm destroyed my garden thanks to the hail and high wind. We also lost a massive pine. We left our home this morning and still hadn't regained power. I'm glad the tree didn't land on the house, but I'm devastated about my garden. I hope no one else here had any damage.

I'm also sorry to hear that Nor. Just remember that nature is amazing. I had so many plants pulverized this past winter in the storms, I thought for sure they were goners. Most have proved me wrong, although I don't think they will be back to full form for another year or two. But, it's something to look forward to!

Noreaster sorry I did not see your post from late last night, that is such a shame about your garden. Glad the pine didn't do more damage and hope the power comes back on soon. Hopefully there is enough time left his season so much of the garden can recover. Too many bad storms the last few years and we still have a lot of summer to go. Hoping the best for you and anyone that gets hit with one of these damaging storms.

Yesterday was a bit drippy with some scattered showers. Today seems dryer but much warmer, heading for the mid 80's. In Western New York we have had almost 7 inches of rain so far in June. The flowers and grass are looking really good.

79 The seems to be a batch of clouds moving through, rumble of thunder but no sign of rain.

we just had a breif sprinkle here - dark clouds have passed - need to get a fire started out back was hoping to listen to the sox this afternoon by the fire pit.

Overcast and grey. Still 83 degrees without the sun. Lots of dark clouds but no rain. Hope we get some tonight or tomorrow, no big boomers though thank you very much. Only a little over 2 and a half inches this month and most of that was in the first 10 days.

Gosh, Jen, I would guess in Thomaston! We haven't missed any....my gardens are damp still, but I'm not complaining cause the water barrel is full, & I have not watered anything yet. It's down to 84 after a high of 88, but very humid....a little breeze is stirring.
