I only have annual coreopsis, but I really liked yours, Karen. Those peonies were gorgeous, & so nice that your Dad is still able to enjoy the gardens.

looking good.

Well I moved my canna to another bed as I saw how big they get. It is now in a bed which has some red castor beans ballerina double yellow datura and some tomatoes.

Yes, they do get big.....mine is in a pot by itself. Jen, great color on the DL....Victor, the hydrangeas are lovely. Decided to go to WFF today, & I'm glad I did ....they had a nice selection of roses, not the 50 or so Knockouts, & I bought Honey Perfume....really nice scent....

And rose Easy Does It, which is a floribunda, & probably not hardy, but oh, well, I couldn't resist. WFF also had a JM called Shaina, with itsy-bitsy leaves in different shades of red trained as a one stem, with a bushy top....$105...didn't think that was too bad, but I resisted!

Well here is a purple pepper that I just put in a pot with some basil pesto.

glad you resisted marilyn - shaina died on me and although it looks real nice i would not get one without putting it in a pot and over wintering in the garage - having said that mason hollow nursery has one that is in the ground and looks great - very small though because of the die back over the winter.

nice roses too:)

Beautiful roses Marilyn

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I agree, gorgeous!
Love the lilies Jen!

Thomaston, CT

Thanks....glad I resisted, Bill...maybe that was the reason for the price for such a large specimen! They must keep it in a GH for the winter.

Malvern, PA(Zone 6b)

Victor what is your pretty maiden, she is beautiful. The hydrangea is a lace cap right?

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Nice pics, you guys! Thanks for the compliments on mine. I have a lot to post, but I'm too tired. Maybe tomorrow night.

Karen

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Nice collages from previous thread Karen. Love those penstemon.
Victor that is a nice little DL and I am waiting for the O&Ls here to open any day now.
That sounds like a nice combo for your canna pensacola.
Marilyn that Honey Perfume is beautiful. I just got one this spring but it is all full of unopened buds. Very anxious to see if it looks as pretty as yours.
Another new rose this spring is 'Black Cherry' and finally a bud is opening.
