Those are beautiful Karen. If your DL's are blooming, maybe mine will soon.
I was just thinking the same thing Ge, soon! Nice Karen!!
Nice! Lovely JI.'s amd the coloring of that clem is yummy!!!
Karen those are really lovely DLs. So nice and sunny and bright. Nice.
JoAnn really like that blue and yellow collage and the JI, okay they are all beautiful.. Your cosmos is growing really well too.
Here are a few from this mornings walk about.
New rose here for me. 'Black Cherry' all opened up. I am having a hard time getting this one's color right. Pretty close but not as deep red velvet with black accents as it should be. This is a very pretty rose.
Just beautiful Pat.I noticed a Baloon flower about to pop.Roses are wonderful
Robin love your painting, so pretty. I think it is partly the morning light, but this bloom seems more golden orange than another that seems to be more yellow. Could be the heat too and it does have a very nice scent.
Yes JoAnn, the balloons are popping now. One of my favorite perennials.
Do you have the short border one? Sentimental Blue?
These are about three-four feet tall. Also started as small Bluestone plants. I have the smaller 1 ft high ones too, but they seem to bloom a little later than these tall ones. They both spread easily from self seeding.
I love the tall ones.My short border ones are from Bluestn too.
Beautiful roses!!
Robin, that is a beutiful piece of work!!
Beautiful Louisiana iris Allison!
thanks... do they take a while to spread?.... planted mine 2 falls ago... 1st blooms now... and all skinny... or do I need to move them?
I'm zone 6a too, and they spread very slowly here. In warmer climates they can spread very quickly, but I think we're at the edge of their hardiness.
Very pretty Jo! Did you get it from me? If so it's Anytus.
Gorgeous blooms, JoAnne, Allison, Celeste and Pat! Oh, and Marilyn, your clem painting is wonderful!
Thanks, guys, for the compliments on my DL's.
Karen
Maybe it IS Anytus.I did buy some from you but they died unless the replacement was planted in the Lasagna garden where its blooming now.
Its 38 inches high
