Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Karen those are really lovely DLs. So nice and sunny and bright. Nice.
JoAnn really like that blue and yellow collage and the JI, okay they are all beautiful.. Your cosmos is growing really well too.
Here are a few from this mornings walk about.
New rose here for me. 'Black Cherry' all opened up. I am having a hard time getting this one's color right. Pretty close but not as deep red velvet with black accents as it should be. This is a very pretty rose.

Another new one is 'Honey Perfume' which has also just opened up.

Victor said his helenium wasn't quite blooming yet but this is helenium 'Mardi Gras' from Bluestone. These started out as the usual small plants. They are just beginning to bloom, but look at all the buds.

and this was also a small new plant from HCG this spring, veronica 'Blue Charm'. It is to my eye a bit more blue actually that this pic indicates.

Karen, love your Mom's Movie Theatre Butter! Jo, your new clem is a great blue....I painted my clem Silver Moon with the 3 different colors as it ages....Pat, your Honey Perfume seems darker than mine, but maybe it's the lighting...the scent is wonderful, right?

Just beautiful Pat.I noticed a Baloon flower about to pop.Roses are wonderful

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Robin love your painting, so pretty. I think it is partly the morning light, but this bloom seems more golden orange than another that seems to be more yellow. Could be the heat too and it does have a very nice scent.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Yes JoAnn, the balloons are popping now. One of my favorite perennials.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Do you have the short border one? Sentimental Blue?

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

These are about three-four feet tall. Also started as small Bluestone plants. I have the smaller 1 ft high ones too, but they seem to bloom a little later than these tall ones. They both spread easily from self seeding.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I love the tall ones.My short border ones are from Bluestn too.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Beautiful roses!!
Robin, that is a beutiful piece of work!!

Pensacola, FL(Zone 8b)

I'm zone 6a too, and they spread very slowly here. In warmer climates they can spread very quickly, but I think we're at the edge of their hardiness.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Very pretty Jo! Did you get it from me? If so it's Anytus.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
