is this wilt or blight???? they were so healthy then they started yellowing and now dying. can anyone help??

Well.......I have noticed that every time it rains on my plants, especially when its hot., my plants look sickly. They look like someone poured poison on them . Is it acid -rain, fumes from the oil spill, or just the sun baking the leaves? I am still investigating. Good news is that the plants usually recover, but not like they were.
