This my first year of watermelon growing. I had some sandy ground that was difficult to row crop, so I put in a few hills of watermelon. After replanting once because off the creek getting out, I got a great stand. The problem is, some of the plants leaves are getting brown spots, looking unhealthly. I have a lot of time, and money wrapped up in this patch, so I would like to get some melons out of it! I planted some different strains, and the Truck buster hybrid I got for Wilhte seed co, came up first and where doing very well but have this problem the most. My crimson sweets have a few spots, but not as bad, but is not advanced. My pumpkins, and squash, are very healthy looking, and show no signs. What do I need to do? We have had a ton of rain, warm temps, with high humidity. I sprayed the plants with a fungicide the other day, and dusted with sevin dust, trying to control the problem. Thanks
