never have seen a cat named ben before:)
nice joann
More lovely blooms and foliage.
Pensacola your canna looks like it is growing well and don't forget some pics when it blooms.
Victor that sea holly is one of the big ones but I do have 'Blue Hobbit'. It has smaller blooms but lots of them. Don't know if it will come true from seed. Will post a pic from last year.
Robin and all who have delphs blooming I am jealous. Mine are budded but will be small and late cause they all got moved this spring. Yes CM is a DA rose. This one is on its own roots, not grafted.
Love those white HH Peoniae and congrats on ES blooming.
Bill all really nice shots, specially the hydrangea which looks like it is going to put on quite a show for you.
Nice JoAnn. Like the campanula and all your pots are doing well. You have some really pretty pots and the kitty isn't bad either. Very nice..
Very nice, Bill! I can see why you 'sove' it. ^_^
Ben has a brother Jerry, they were rescued.15 years old.
jeez and the s is no where near the l :)
Great pics, everyone, as usual!
Miles, I hope your peach-leaved campanula does well for you. This is the first time I've had success with one. I've tried them several times before and they always died on me. Hey, if you have time on Sunday and what to stop by to check out my gardens, let me know. I'll probably be around.
Pat, that butterfly weed looks very nice with the catmint. That Christopher Marlow rose is a beauty. I love that unknown purple iris. Really nice!
Victor, I could never get tired of that gorgeous JI. Oh, you have Invincebelle! I've been wanting that one. I love Lady Scarlet DL. Beautiful! Blue Billow is amazing, too. Such a nice shade of blue.
Marilyn, I like the color on that spuria iris and the delph. Another nice blue on that one.
Rama, the hollyhocks are great! That pic of the sunflower bud is very nice. Would be a good one for the photo contest.
Pensecola, nice cana. I have never grown them. My next door neighbor has them in a big galvanized steel tub. I'm assuming they're in water or very wet, unless they have drainage holes in that thing.
Bill, I love the Tiger's Eye sumac. I'm not sure, but maybe those yellow flowers are called sundrops or sundews. Possibly something from this family: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/search.php?q=oenothera&Search=Search+PlantFiles . Your carpet of creeping Jenny is very nice, and I love your long shot. Nice geranium, too.
Here are some shots from the other day. Crested iris (in front), pulmonaria 'Trevi Fountain' (behind CI), and behind that is Japanese painted fern on the left and a tiarella on the right.
Karen
is sagea in shade karen - i have several and yours looks a bit greener than mine - you can see mine in post 7889990 it is the one in front
Yes, mine is is mostly shade, Bill. Maybe it's the exposure on the camera. I have a setting on my camera I use that balances the color for shade/overcast shots. It warms up the color like a warming filter. In shade and on overcast days you will get an overall bluish cast to your shots if it's balanced for sunlight. I'll try taking one on the sunlight setting and see if there's a difference.
Here's one of the foxgloves, and that's it for now.
Karen
Bill, yes Sundrops

Jen,this is the first year for it.It should be really showie in 3 years.
Thats a beauty.
Nice. Tropical?
like the pot heads:)
Check out this web site for "pot heads". Go to the "garden art shop". www.petalpushersgardenplace.com. Owner is a good friend of mine. She makes the pot heads and sells them on ebay (besides at the shop).
Yes it is a tropical Victor. It is not hardy below 55 degrees. It's name is 'Baja Breeze'
I will have to bring it inside tonight. Low forecast of 50.
Nice pics Karen, I like your DL5. Is it your own hybrid?
Found a little Love in the Mist under the elderberry.
Nice size and branching, Weeze. Bigger than mine.
"Patches" looks cute in the garden, Karen! That is a nicely shaped JM.
Weeze, like the B&W hydrangea
