I am looking for inexpensive plants since I don't know how to do the swap thing yet here...
Well, I spotted a peony on Spring Hill's web site at $5.00 ..
I ordered it, and shipping was under $7.00.
I remembered the coupons at a site, went to that, while the page to Spring Hill was still open, returned to the still open order page, typed in the coupon code, and hit enter.
Well returned info was.... item was free, but the shipping jumped to over $12.00!
To me this is a scam.... Anyone else had this type of problem...
Makes me not want to buy from them.
Discount Coupons at Spring Hill,,, Makes Shipping Higher...
I'd always check the Garden Watchdog before ordering from anyone--this place has as many negatives as positives so they wouldn't be tops on my list even without the shipping cost issue. http://davesgarden.com/products/gwd/c/188/
Thanks... I couldn't believe it. It happened all with in a matter of seconds.
Will never buy from them at this point.
Thanks for the info.
