Loved the photo of the carpet rose and salvia!

Yes - great color on that rose.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

ngam, Thanks, I agree totally with BostonArea_6A comment, but the one I totally l adore is "Jack and Stella ". Stunning photo and combo. Going to copy that one for sure.

Thanks Robindog, I really like the odd stuff and lots of orange, which I use to hate. Go figure. Patti

Thanks all.
I really like all the warm colored tbi that you have been posting Patti. I think I need to find a spot for at least one.

East Bridgewater, MA

In my younger years, I only favored a garden palette of blues, purples, and pinks (with white).

Now that I'm an ol' crone, the full spectrum of colors is now appealing, with golds, reds, salmons, and oranges.

But blue-purple will always be my first love...(sigh)....

Thomaston, CT

Me too! Pat, what's the maroon campanula...is it Elizabeth? Patti, love the Westmoreland.

If you mean the bell shaped one in the first pic, it is 'Cherry Bells'. You have to watch it cause it spreads quickly, but is easy to pull out.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Dwarf asiatics are almost ready for pic.in the meantime the Salmon Classic and Matrix are fully open

Very nice!! Your way ahead of me!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I doubt it Pixi
These are the only blooming plants here now besides the Salvias and and geraniums that are on their way out.
I feel I am waaaaaay behind.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I have Iris's in bloom, lupines, and geraniums just started. My Mock Orange is in full bloom right now, smells wonderful!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I've been watching your posts.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I'm waiting for the daylilies and lilies. ^_^

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Mee too.
Its a lag in blooms between Iris and lilies.Snapdragons are holding their own.

South Hamilton, MA

The lily leaf beetle destroy them here. Dwarf daylily 'Three Seasons in bloom. lemon colored & more dainty than stella d'oro.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

irisMa, would that one be called 'Happy returns"?

South Hamilton, MA

No it is 'Three Seasons'. Hybridized by a person in MA some yrs ago who is a quiet hybridizer & not given enough credit for his work. Tranquel Lake garden introduces for him. Not use of they still do as they are so much into garden design.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

OH! I thought you meant it bloomed 3 seasons!! Sorry, not enough coffee I guess. Sounds like a lovely daylily.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

very nice joann i will enjoy those Asiatics through others pictures!

celeste is your mock orange a double flower? i only ask because my double is has been in bloom for several days while the old single bloom has not started yet.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

No, it's an old fashion single Mock Orange.....has been on the property longer than Brian has. ^_^

:) - very nice - will have to get a pic of the double today - maybe the single is slower because of the massive trim i gave it last year.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I lost my double...never did much for the 3 years I had it then this year it was dead.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

strange - mine was a half dead one on the discount pile and has done great.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

pretty, how tall do they get when full grown?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

splish splash - should have taken this before the rain - like the way it stands tall and does not spread out

do not think so have that in another spot - coop purchase the tag is out there will need to check.

vitifolium jm with coppertina behind it in this picture - the leaves on the viti are supposed to be twice the size next year because it was in a container w/no fertilizer this year - have is slightly behind the autumn moon should be a nice contrast.
