Thanks, Pixie

I have a question for you, I was looking at the passionflower today and thought it will be ready to take some cuttings in a week or two. Does it matter if the the cutting comes from a stem with blooms, or better from a non blooming stem?

John Huxtable. He has Anna Louise over him and Comtesse to his side, he's a happy fella!

My little wren emerging from taking care of his/her chicks. Such big noise from such little birds, and the chicks are following suit in the noise department

I love the "noise" wrens make. I agree though, surprisingly loud for such a little bird! Great shot!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I have no idea Weeze, I've been growing 3 in a pot for over a year and just now read that they should each have their own 5 Gal. pot!! No wonder they aren't blooming and look thin!!! Sorry, I am at a complete loss when it comes to passie's!!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Then it will be an experiment!

5 Gal?? mine is not in a 5 gallon either. Maybe 2 or 1.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great sots, Weeze. Are your hydrangeas normally blue or pink?

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

As sots go, they're incwedible ^_^

Mine go both ways. In the back yard I have two within 5 feet of each other. One is blue, the other pink. Another "Go Figure" gardening moment.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

There's supposed to be a smiley after incwedible ^_^

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Okay, now it's there!

DonnieBrook, I didn't find the bracelet yet. Not looking, just hope I stumble across it. Wonderful collage.

Great wren house and photo.

I am losing my DH this week as my garden helper. He is about to get the little sailboat ready for the summer. He spends many days getting her perfect each year. I think she is 25 years old. Her name is Red Wind, which my son named at age 5 for himself and for the Red sail she has. His name is (R) Edwin (d) which we thought was pretty clever. So I will weed alone. Patti

Here is one of the rugosa beds, the other big one has issues and needs to be dug out this fall and replanted. ugh. Patti

Sometimes alone time is a great thing, not necessarily while weeding though.
;)

That is beautiful!!

Nice boat!

Southeastern, NH(Zone 5b)

Very pretty flowers!
I love the cute little wren shot!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Pretty excited to find these guys blooming as I planted them in 2008 and they did nothing last year or I just missed them, Arisaema triphyllum. Patti

Cool! I have a few, but no pipes yet.

Malvern, PA(Zone 6b)

Cool boat

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Thanks, The boat is only 13 feet long, but like being in a pea pod.

I planted something in 2008 called Brimeura amethystina OR Hyacinthus amethystinus which are pretty little bells. They didn't do much last year but we have a sweet little herd this year. It is an "Alpine Hyacinth" found in Northern Spain. I need to get a better picture. Patti

Like the dark color on the geranium.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Primula continue. I divided more today. I want armies of them next year or at least nice little gatherings. I only have one of each of these, so it will be a few years to get more of them. Patti

Nice! What's the name of the one with green and yellow flowers?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Cute boat.
I LOVE the wren shot, amazing you caught him/her...they are usually so fast, I have one too in one of the little birdhouses attached to my deck, loves sitting on the tiki torch and making a racket, sooo cute.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Thanks Jen...it did take a while. I kept getting pics of the front of the house, no bird. They're fast!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

nice little boat patti - it obviously receives loving attention

louise i do stake them although it is impossible to see the stakes.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

SongsofJoy, that is P.Francesca which has been in bloom since I bought it on May 1 from the grower, Sunny Border at the Tower Hill Primula show. It is similar to one called Green Lace, but is a little stouter and darker and more frilly in my eyes. This is the same plant on May 6th. Nice run. Patti

Louise, the white collage was just lovely....and the girls sound like Robs, who dug out my rhubarb....but the rhubarb is very sad looking right now. Patti, love the primrose & the dark leaves on that geranium...Orkney Cherry also has the dark leaves. Victor, that Cotinus is so delicate looking! Weeze, great wren shot....I have a family in my veggie garden, & they are noisy.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Victor I like that blue foliage of Maxima. I will look that one up.
Venu nice multi color hydrangea, clems and JI pics. I also like the little bird shot. Nice job.
Patti that is a really nice bank of rugosa rose. Those are all really nice interesting primulas. Such nice diversity.
Here is a batch from around the garden today before the rain sets in.
