Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Charleen, what a pretty flower bed! I love mixed beds!
Elizabeth, that cactus is a beaut! Is that an Annabelle hydrangea? I have one that is blooming right now, even tho it's still in a pot. :o( .Been trying to find the perfect spot for it..lol I'll get caught up, one of these days.
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Dee, remember that pink Hydrangea you sent??? It isn't pink, it's blue. But is cute as can be.
See the frog in my pond? I finally got a pic.

hmmmm....oh well...blue is nice..lol
Is that critter as big as he looks? looks like a big ole bullfrog.
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Blue is Beautiful and it's alive can' beat that.
He lives in my pond and I have to keep those boards on thee to keep dogs from killing fish. He is a nice size little fella and so fat. I've been wait all spring for that picture. He has been jumping and I been missing.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

If he's a bullfrog, he will eat everyfish in your pond.At least they ate all of mine when I had a pond, when I used to live in the country. I love frogs tho! I love listening to them at night. My husband hates hearing them.He says they keep him awake, but nothing keeps me awake when I'm tired..lol
How's your weather, Charleen? We had a lot of storms, the begiining of the week, but now its just hot...too hot for me..It got to 91 today. When it's that hot, I get my yard work and watering done by 8:30 or 9:00, and spend the rest of the day inside, in the air conditioning..lol
Dee

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

You call 91 hot? OH come now, it was 90 at 10:PM last night. Every year I forget how hot 100 is and how much I hate it. All Winter all I could say was come on Summer. It hit 100 here in May. It would be so nice to live in a place that had four seasons.

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Ken, as beautiful as I think the south is, I could never live there...the heat kills me. Even when I was a kid, the gym teacher would make me sit out, because I would get so hot that I would just pass out.I need to find a place that is 70-80, year round..lol.If I had my choice of working outside in 90 degrees or 30 degrees, I'd choose 30.BUT...you can't have beautiful plants at 30..lol..so, I suffer thru it...lol
Dee

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I love that garden Charleen, and the bull frog too.. I can't believe you haul that cactus in every year Elizabeth, you are dedicated that is for sure. It is a beautiful bloom.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

thank you Debra and all. I have four goldfish in that pond and if that frog eats them he will have to get a lot bigger.
they are about 4-5'' long.
It has been hot and humid. Was horrible til DH Turned on Airconditioners, our central air went out. Just hate to see light bill. Temps have been in hi 90's Supposed to be hot this weekend too.
Charleen

Dee, Debra & Ken how nice too see you, I hope you get Brug Blooms soon, we wait all winter to smell that fragrance, there's no other frangrance like it, my lavender

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Thank you, I love them. this is most beautiful I have ever seen them. Wonder why???

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Some plants liked the cold and wet Winter. Not me, all I could say was I cant wait until Spring. Spring never came, it went from Winter right into Summer. WE broke 100 in May and until last weeks 4" rain we went for 90 days and only had 1&3/4 in. This is going to be a long hot Summer. A lot of my Brugs did not come back and the ones that did are struggling. I am going to have to replant a good many of them and I lost some that I do not have cuttings of. But my Daylilies have never looked better.

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
just Georgeous, IU love your daylillies, Trhank you for posting them, I am so excited with you about your firsta Brug Bllom, I can't wait too see it

Ken
I am so sorry you're having such a bad time, the clipping you sent me are doing wonderful, today was a hot one here also, my poor Brugs were drooping, now that the sun has set, they're looking good again, I do hope you see Blooms soon, if not we'll have too wait till it cools down, I am glad you get too visit with us

Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Ken I still have a couple you sent me. I have better luck with the longer cuttings than the short ones. I was so disappointed but love the ones that made it.
That skirt is really dropping, Maybe this afternoon Elizabeth and I have to bend to look at it. Very unusal from the Whiplash neck got from Brugs last year. ☺
Pictures soon.
