?what kind of squash is this..??..

Pilot Point, TX(Zone 7b)

I planted this squash and now I don't remember what kind it is..??.. I like to try DIFFERENT things...which is fun...but since I didn't save the seed packet or remember it's name... I'm not sure when it's ready to be picked. --??--

Anybody recognize it..??..

Many thanks...

Just a guess: table king or acorn ?

Wentworth, SD

It looks like a young acorn squash, it needs to turn a dark green and usually have some orange/yellow color showing on the bottom when its ready. These squash are usually fall squash not spring. Hope this helps!

Thanks y'all --- I thought acorn squash was on a vine.... the leaves on this plant looks just like the zucchini plants..??.. Ah well... I'm going to treat them like an acorn squash and let them get bigger...and more yellow. Love acorn...actually I can't think of ANY vege that I don't like.
