Got this plant from a nursery guy who had kept it somewhere at the back and didnt know what it was.I bought it when it hadnt shown any sign of flowering.Now it has,and the beautiful pure white flowers have an amazing fragrance.Please can anyone help me identify this plant.thanks.

I am thinking a variety of Jasmine.
hmm,,i dont know,,the flowers are 3 inches wide,,are jasmines found in that size?
Not sure. There are many varieties of jasmine with different flower shapes and sizes. The only one I have ever seen and touched was in Florida and the flower was not shaped like this one. I was using the foliage as a guide. My opinion was` only a guess.
I agree, it appears to be a type of Jasmine. it looks like Star Jasmine... possibly
