Ok I am first in line to trade for a seed of the awesome Sazanami that Helena has growing!
Morning Glories 2010 #06
3 gorgeous vines Helena. I hope my no Monet is that color when it
finally blooms.
wow!! I am second in line LOL that blue is drop dead gorgeous.
Love the pink
Thanks, Tony. I liked your latest photo, which is referred to as tie-dye, shibori or blizzard, but all may agree that it is beautiful.
What type of camera are you using, Tony? Is there a way to direct the focusing mechanism onto the flower? It appears the autofocus is looking beyond the subject in your photo and focuses on the background.
Joseph
pretty Tony. Most camera now has a 'flower' setting that will allow you to take fabulous close up picture.
I use a Canon Powershot A550. Do you know if this cultivar is very fussy about making seeds? I know a lot of large-flowered i. nils are.
Tony
Tony, this one makes a good amount of seeds. Mine did last yr even though it was planted in the ground. I planted Pink Tie Dye again but
it did not come up. I love this one so going to try again in a starter pot.
am enjoying everyone's mgs - nice pink tie dye (or pink shibori), Tony
Karen
edited to say - Helen, this one - http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=7873435 - looks like it has a darker star in same color, but with black velvet shadings - very nice

Helena - Outstanding blooms! I believe that I am "first" in line for seeds of your beautiful Sazanami! (From another website post.) LOL! Your Fuji no Monet is just gorgeous! I am so glad yours turned out to be the true purple blooming vine instead of the pink or white blooming vine gene. :-) :-)
Joseph - Nice pink bloom.
Debra - Won't be long now before you have lots of blooms on your vines, too!
Tony - Did you purchase seeds for Tie-dye Pink? If not, have you ever grown Hanafubuki or Ushio? If so, that might be what your tie-dye looking pink bloom is. Here is a photo of one of my first blooms on my Hanafubuki last year. Of course the blooms changed drastically after the first few and looked more typical of that cultivar. Love your wire cage in your pot.
Hi,
what is the name for WD? It is gorgeous!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful blooms Helena.
Thank you Joseph!
Becky, that was from my Burpee's sunrise mix. My first bloom looks exactly like yours.
Tony
Helena. all beeuutiful but I love that huge pink from Becky's sds
with the blizzard. To die for
all are gorgeous, and breath taking too!
Helena, Incredible Fujishibori pic, striking bloom.
Joseph, I am in love with your Kanoko, lovely bloom.
yes, the Kanoko is just beautiful!!!
Wow, the blue one's are my favorite, even though they are all beautiful.
Helena - Your Aomurasaki Blizzard Youjiro is astonishingly gorgeous! As is all of your blooms!
Blue Marble Not? Is it supposed to be BM and it doesn't have the characteristics? Or is it a cultivar of something else?
Joseph - Lovely 'Kanoko'. I thought that cultivar was supposed to have dark pink speckles? Yours looks like it has almost peach color speckles.
Here is some blooms from my Blue Speckled vine.
All of them are just beautiful. Truly glad you posted them.
Becky, Wonderful blooms on your Blue Speckled vine. Love the
variations.
Beautiful, Becky!!!
