Good Morning Violet, same as Sun Smiles?
Morning Glories 2010 #06
Thank you.
beautiful!
I think you're right Nicole. Very pretty
Joseph, you know I love the white with pink eye. Its drop dead
gorgeous.
Oh my goodness those blooms are drop dead gorgeous, thanks for making my day today.
Joseph, The gray bloom is a beauty, definitely a jaw dropper which is
my favorite type of bloom. lol
The lovely pink is covered in a sprinkling of Star Dust. Wonderful
blooms you're getting this season.
WOW!!! A gray flower!!! That is sooo cool!!! I had never seen one before.
Pensacola, how many seedling you plant in one pot? do you keep the two in each compartment together?
Lots of stunning blooms!!! Thank you everyone!
Debra, lovely dark color.
Helena, great blooms. I will be getting blooms one of these days. lol
This JMG was actually closer to red, but photographed pinkish red. It is another one from a mix I grew several years ago, although for the life of me, I do not remember this colored flower being in the container. It appears a bit like Dainagon, which I think I grew that year, too. It is a big flower JMG, and stayed open all day to sunset.
Joseph
Do MG's flowers last just for one day?
Most Japanese morning glories will not even remain open past noon. The red one I just posted stayed open because it was a relatively cool day today. It would most likely have closed earlier if it had been a very hot day today.
Some species, such as Ipomoea obscura, will open up in the afternoon, and then there are the species that open up near sunset.
That is sad...
Joseph, love the large pink and its lacy look. So pretty.
Debra, great flaked bloom.
Some very nice blooms y'all are posting! Interesting colors on some of them, too! Looks like the season is getting into full swing now! Keep those photos coming! :-)
I like your pink centered flower Joseph. Food for the eyes:-)
Tony
Does anyone know if tie-dye pink is very fussy about making seeds? Just curious.
Tony
