Here is a picture of my morning glory and as you can see, no big flowers, just the little tiny ones. It's close to three feet tall now. Is something wrong with it or will the larger flowers come on it later?
Morning Glory Carnival
It's not the plant you think it is...this is a weedy Epilobium species. I don't know what happened to your morning glory but this isn't it.
Thank you eCrane3, that's exactly what it is, Epilobium parviflorum. Guess it was a volunteer in the pack of seeds I wintersowed. They were supposed to be morning glory carnival mix and this was the only cell that survived and since I had never grown morning glorys or much else for that matter, I just figured it wasn't mature yet. Thank you for your help identifying it. Since the little birds love to play in it so much I guess I'll just leave it for this year and replace it with morning glorys or clematis next year. Oh well...
