I saw at least half a dozen of these little bug droppings. I looked all over the plant and couldn't find anything. It is eating my hosta but thankfully it left evidence for me.
What is leaving this bug poop?
Can you get a picture of the eaten leaves, and maybe more clear of the droppings? When I see droppings I often find caterpillars.
I have looked all over that plant and can't find a worm or anything. But nothing else is eaten.
I have had those white cabbage butterflies and I didn't know what they were. Something was eating my cabbage. I spray Raid at them when I see them. I don't know if I kill them but they do get the idea and leave. Didn't see any eggs, larvae, or worms on the cabbage.
The white cabbage butterflies can be devastating to cabbage things. Doing well to have them under control.
I have had things eaten too and never found the culprits. Maybe I didn't look at the right time of day. The poo could have fallen from cats eating above that Hosta on another plant.
I know for sure I don't have leaf miners!!!
(Snickering ) ^_^
Obviously you haven't seen their hats with lights.
Well, I don't know what was pooping on those plants. But I do know that the birds like to eat the leaves on my autumn fire sedum! Also, I found a bird sitting on top of a tomato cage. Then I saw that many of the blossoms on the end of the branches were missing! I covered them with scrapes of netting that is used on fruit trees. I have one 1" cherry tomato that is about ripe, the only one that is. So I am on the look out for those birds. They are the ones with the long beautiful song but I will not be deterred! They will not take my one tomato!!!!
RAID? you used RAID??
Man, you need some education on gardening!! errrrrr
