Pre-emergents

Abilene, TX(Zone 7b)

Our lawn had become a sea of weeds and bur clover, so this spring we decided to put out a pre-emergent. It does appear that the weeds are not re seeding. I say this because now I have bare spots. We live in West Texas and use Bermuda and there is grass, though most seems to be in my flowerbed. How long before I can put out grass seed? What is the best thing to do about the bare spots at this time? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello Brother/ Sister Not to be Mean but look on the Bag , not knowing what type you have used we might give you bad advise wasting your time and money as well as your effort it should give you a time line before you can reseed or add new sod . hope this helps you

Not mean, just common sense, Sarge. But I don't have the bag. My husband was going to put it out, but ran out of time, I told him I'd do it and he told me the setting on the spreader. I didn't even think about reading the bag. Anyone have an idea of what the "top end" of these things are?
