I have four heirloom watermelon seedlings, they are about ready to be planted outside but we have been having some crazy weather here in s.e Portland Gresham area. should I wait for the weather to warm up or will that be to late
Is it too late for my Heirloom Watermelons ?
Put them in the ground now.
thank you
Even if it's a bit cool, they'll establish their root system and be ready to produce flowers and fruits when the weather warms up.
great thats good to know, I am new at melons but they use to grow wild behind my house on a hill when I was a kid so I didn't think they would be to tough to grow...but then I got a little worried
