I understand the Zuchinni & Yellow squash are heavy eaters. Fertilize, & fertilize. Compost, Mulch, & whatever else you can buy as fertilizer.

I second this... We just blasted ours with more fertilizer since new leaves were looking yellow. I suspect the soil we bought wasn't very good and we keep having to beef it back up. Once all the plants in there die, we'll be mixing in good compost to get the soil straightened back out.
