What have you ordered 2010 #8

Thomaston, CT

It would have jumped into my cart, too!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

love that black knight

Thomaston, CT

Going to rain here this afternoon, think I'll head for the garden center in Woodbury.

Thomaston, CT

Well, other than the 2 roses I posted on the photo thread, I also came home with coreopsis Redshift.....it was the tallest coreopsis they had & I needed something tall. It's not blooming yet.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Love the roses you got at WFF. Red Shift looks interesting. I could not resist that delph. Too dark and luscious not to bring home.

Thomaston, CT

It certainly is! Have no idea what Red Shift looks like...it'll be a surprise.

Hallowell, ME

DW bought 3 rhodies for $8 each. 11/2' high potted.

Thomaston, CT

Great price! What colors?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Really like the Rain Tower. Also like the bubbler, though it puts out too much water - have to use the valve to limit it.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Not for my garden but ordered the flowers for the wedding today, calla lilies and orchids....Lord help me!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

always painful

Hallowell, ME

Rhodies are 2 pink and a red.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Sounds like a pretty combo pixie, good luck with it all.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Ah, Celeste - that reminds me of my Dear Mom. She grew orchids and she and her friends all pitched in what they had in bloom and did a beautiful mix of orchids all over the church for my sister's wedding. Your DD's wedding will be beautiful, and you in that dress will knock 'em dead as the Mom of the Bride. Can't wait to see the photos!!!

Thomaston, CT

I know...it's like we're sharing the wedding plans!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks Louise, your sister's wedding sounds lovely!

I know I spoke of Tarsha's best friends wedding that I attend on the 12th of this month. What I fogot to tell you was how Amy(Bride) sang to the Groom at the reception. Amy has always loved singing and so she wanted to do something special for Jake her new husband. Amy is a Kindergarteen teacher, everyday after school she would go to her Mothers and practice this song in the backroom....she did this for 3 months. I am lucky enough to be able to share this specail moment with you thanks to her Uncle Gil posting it on U-Tube. Turn your speakers on.... Here's Amy singing Ella James "At Last "

well my nursery was a little off on the info for the kousa summer gold dw it got - they had told me zone 5 and full sun - after not getting back to me i noticed on one of the tags the growers name - quick google search and i found out partial shade, zone 4, and a tidy 8'H x 4'W. Looks like it will be a great tree!

Jan...are you sure it's Echinacea 'Secret Lust' and not Echinacea 'Secret Passion'??

When I put in Echinacea Secret Lust it said I needed to turn off my "safe mode" as there is ADULT content to view. When I changed the name to passion I found it. It's hot pink right??
