Thats why I dont have more roses. This is a climber we inherited and its loaded with buds after spending the winter with its feet in horse manuer.

Farmer's market down the road has strawberries, she said they were a couple weeks early.

I picked up some nice ones at the farm yesterday.

Everything is early.

I absolutly knew someone would challange the black iris. I dont care its mine and I love it.

I see my lollipop that is growing in a container has some fat buds already

Not lilies, my Rugosa has just opened it's first bloom and iris's are in bloom.

here is my bed of lupines and foxglove, there are some allium a couple vib's, a couple jm's and a deutzia in there two - could not get a better shot from in front due to the sun.

here are a couple shots from behind the bed

and the foxglove have not even started to bloom - there are also rudbeckia in front that will bloom later in the season

allison someone posted a photo of a large batch of lupines 16 month's ago and i liked it - built that bed specifically for the lupine and foxglove so i can not take the credit.

They do flop. That's why I don't grow them.

Is there dwarf ones?

Lovely Bill! So glad to see someone else w/Lupines. I tend to feel guilty at having so many and they grow so freely here while I know others struggle to keep them.

Mine do not flop .
