More beauties!

Patti - Manifich has not spread at all in ten years. Not one volunteer. It is not like wild honeysuckle. I would not have it if it did.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

I have poppy and lupine envy this morning. I did take some photo's yesterday. Here are a few collages. Patti

Daisy Fleabane is a street person who only bathes when she is found on the curb in any city. LOL

This big guy was just lounging in the garden late afternoon. Don't know his name but he is quite a formidable character.

New echinacea this year. A green flower. Should look good with the light pink of 'Hope' when it blooms next door. It is 'Green Jewel'.

New Dawn is lovely...perfect place for it!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I planted a green echi just a few weeks ago.Green Envy.

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

I have that one too JoAnn. It will be three this year so I am expecting some nice blooms. The green one in the pic Victor was new this year and came with a bud on it. I will snip this bloom off and let it bloom naturally now. Had to get a look you know how that goes. 'Hope' I planted last year and has returned twice as large. Second try for this one in a different location that it evidently likes. Those roses by your sitting wall are very nice and tempt me. I have pulled out lots of roses here. The addition of the winter moth caterpillars added to the already long list of bugs and blackspot made the plants more of a mess for longer than they looked decent. Love the flowers but the plants just look crummy unless you are willing to put down chems and I am not. Life is too short to put up with an ugly plant when another will do better, jmho.
Here is another new echie that came with a bud. It has already been snipped off. 'Tangerine Dream'.

Anyone picking strawberries already? I just started yesterday. These are june bearers but seem to be a little early like a lot of things this year.

Victor, great New Dawn! Mine is budding nicely and I've got my new umbrella trellis alternative for it...did not want to buy the one from J&P since the Monet Arch I got from them is kinda flimsy...Now I just have the pry the canes we've been shoving behind the gutter for two years and try to train it up this thing...wish me luck!
