Just wanted to say I think this is a great site and didn't mean to sound flippant in my earlier reply, honestly just don't have the $15.

Goodbye all. Take care and be safe.

I haven't been here very long, but I love it.I have already paid mine. I feel very lucky to find this place and if Dave and Trish had to do this to keep it open, I am glad they were willing to do it. We can all see what a lot of work goes into this and I don't think anyone should be expected to do it for nothing. But they have done so and now just need to recoup some of what they have put out. They are not asking for that much and I know I have saved money just on seeds I wanted to try.

Bye everyone, it's been fun and the site is great (and getting better every day). It probably is worth the $15 but being a dirt poor farmer I don't have the $$ (my ISP takes all of my internet budget and no, we rural folks don't have access to free ISP's) nor do I believe in paying for sites on the web (I have been surfing for 10 years now so I am used to the old ways of everything being free and easy). Like Don I have found there to be few market farmers here (but it is a quality group that is here and I will miss you all) but that has never bothered me as for years I have subscribed to numerous email lists for direct farm marketeers for my FM fix.

I don't know where I'll end up (probably lurking here often) as GW is off limits to me. I guess I'll just put more of my time into my website http://www.angelfire.com/oh2/boulderbeltcsa and make it the best organic farming site on the web.

Take care everyone and maybe I'll "see" you around cyberspace.

Blum, TX(Zone 8a)

thanks ! after going back I found it! I thought I was going squirrely!

(Zone 5b)

I'm staying and glad to see so many of you are too. I'm also sorry to see many of you go who can't stay.

When I first found this site as a link from southrngal I was thrilled to see the DG mission saying this is a christian site. I like the way Dave participates and doesn't just monitor the site by lurking. Now for the members - I've been here less than a month and thanks to all of you I've felt comfortable from my very first post.

I work in the technology industry and I know how incredibly time-consuming and expensive an internet site can be to maintain, and I want to help support it so Dave can keep maintaining it according to its Mission.
