I purchased some tomato plants from the store, three packs for 79 cents, and got the tomato cages. They seem to be real large and I had to put a second cage on top of the ones I got when the plants were real little. Not sure why they are growing so large, are these store bought plants genetically altered? This is my first year with a small garden at this house we just purchased in northern Oklahoma, and we are not using miricle grow or plant food? Any clue or concerns about these bionic tomatos?
Tomato plants
Those look like perfectly normal tomatoes--they can get quite large.
look normal to me too.
I just planted tomato plants from seeds 6 weeks ago and they are really large already. They grow fast... get the salad dressing ready :)
