Suggestions for round-shaped plants?

I'm looking for a low plant that grows in a spherical shape for this one area I have in the garden. It's a full-sun area, zone 7. I would like something showy and hardy. I look forward to all your suggestions.

Lots of dwarf conifers would qualify.
