Gorgeous plants,Joseph!

Thank you, Nicole, Jackie and Anna, very much. I like growing out these mystery vines, because quite often you are greeted by real treasures.

I'm going to soak some more of your mystery seeds and see what I can get.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

really breathtaking joseph, I am transfixed with that one as well.

I have all of these unknown vines pruned down so they will only produce perhaps less than 10 seed pods. I did this primarily to save on space. It will be hard to limit the growth of this one and probably a good number of others, but my mission is to put a morning face with the seeds this year, then propagate the ones I especially like in the years to come.

smart plan, smart man..

Thank you for your kind words, Debra.

Thanks, Helena, your photos are exceptional, Maisugata is a classic indeed.

Pensacolagarden, your seedlings look great. Enjoy them at this stage, with the warm weather they ought to take off and grow fast.

Here is a second flower of N32. This photo I took with a flash, on reduced power output. I like the light blue on the interfold areas.

Here is the same flower using sunlight only. It brings out the red in the flower.

Japanese MG N07 has made a big plump flower bud. I can't wait until tomorrow to see what the final color will be on this plant.

Helena - WOW! Nice ones!

Pensacolagarden - Those babies are looking GREAT! Good luck transplanting them to a bigger pot or the garden bed!

Joseph - Nice bloom! I am currently growing one that is similar. My vine had blooms that started out looking like this one on the left and then morphed into the photo to the right!

Really??? I was noticing the strings/lines that you have spaced that each vine is growing up. How big is that vine??? Do you have a photo of the entire plant? Impressive!

Gautier, MS

Gorgeous blooms Helena. Still waiting on mine except for one I purchased locally, already blooming. Saving it for the new thread coming up.
