Buying a foreclosure home

Enid, OK

Last year when the government bailed out the banks on their foreclosure problems my wife and I went looking to buy a foreclosure. We took photos of all these houses we went to see that our fine banks loaned out money on? None of the homes were even livable and most of them should be torn down. We did end up buying a government forclosure but not because it was livable, but it was the best out of the hundreds of government owned homes we saw. This is a photo of a house we did not buy, but a fine example of where your tax dollars went. Have a nice day.

Looks like a rat's nest to me.

Why buy a foreclosure house, rather than just buying a home. You get what you pay for.

I bought a foreclosed home. Best deal I could've gotten and the house was in very good shape.

Then you got lucky. I have heard horror stories regarding what owners did for spite when they lost their house.

Blomma - You don't have to convince me! Some of the houses we looked at were in terrible shape! Some of the individuals totally trashed the places, knocking down walls, fixtures, ceilings, etc. once they found out they were losing their homes. Terrible...

Yeah, exactly what does this have to do with beginner landscaping?

Perhaps it's a thread on how to landscape in your living room :)

Now that was funny Grantman lol, If you could get them for a dollar and have lots of money in the bank to fix them up then can see where it might work, but if they look like that one they would have to pay me to take it :-)
