I'm a newbee, how and when[ zone 5] do I plant cucumbers?

Jimmy, all bets are off for this year as to when to plant anything. The weather from what I hear on here from all parts of the country is anything but stable. Normally I would think you would be pretty safe in planting now. But, only you know how your weather is.

We all should be safe planting out now but I am covering things every night and bringing what I can in the house. And my ground is anything but warm.
