Forgot this kalmia shot yesterday.
2010 Garden Photos - Part 13
i need to get some kalmia - saw them today at my wifes work and they looked good.
I had a small one from bluestone that didn't survive, I'd like another too
So many in the wild where I hike. Amazing when they're all in bloom.
i have wild ones here on the property - still i think the next time i see them at hd or lowes i will pick up a few - they have not reached real nursery status purchase just yet.
I was in my shade garden and noticed the one plant among my spiderwort blooming yellow...guess a daylily got mixed in..... hee hee
now that I just looked could be that or giant Shirley

Great shots, Allison. The kalmia is great! Also love the dark peony. Your mystery plant looks familiar, but I don't know.
Victor, I am bowled over by Manifich. I must plant it somewhere if I can keep it from eating our property.
Nutsfordaylily, love your Nellie Moser and trellis.
Onewish1, love your friend, Lucy or Ethel.
Ge1836, your Sugar Daddy is fabulous. I need that one. Patti
Alisson, are the stems square on your mystery plant?...some mintish family then? Trying to remember why my mondarda leaves look like from memory....
