My Phoenix roebelenii are sick with this little creatures ..what are they? ..how can i end their destruction !

These look like the larvae of a leaf beetle (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). They should be susceptible to most common insecticides registered for homeowner use against chewing insects.
