First of all,I didn't know they flower.I have had them for years in a pot. This year 3 of them sent up flower spikes.Very long stems with yellow flowers.Does this mean anything?End of their lifespan? Will they flower every year now?Edge
Aloe vera flowers
Sounds like you managed to give them the right conditions to make them happy! (all plants will bloom if you give them the right conditions...but often when we try to grow things as houseplants we aren't able to give them those ideal conditions). Aloes won't die after blooming, and assuming they stay as happy as they are now they should bloom for you again.
Thanks for your reply. The flowers really are not that exciting. But I was surprised to see them bloom after having them for so long.Edge
I was very surprised to see my snake plants flower last summer.... the actual flower wasn't that impressive but just the fact that they actually flowered was amazing. I have a huge aloe vera, it would be cool to see it flower.
