Mine is a robin too...a fledgling that was in the front yard. I looked all over yesterday for another one to try again with no luck!

I've one too, a Brown Thrasher that was too busy to pose for a pic. lol. It must have seen a bug and went after it in a hury.

LOL, excellent duc!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

It's awesome when you catch them in action like that!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

Looks like some kind of oriole marigold.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

LOL good ones guys, I have a challenge for Resin, you have IDed some bad pic in the pass, which really surprised me, now here`s one you can try to ID. ,;0)
It`s flight was quite different from the ones I;ve seen around, and the tail is not something I`ve seen on birds around here. About the size of a Dove. It was flying over the falls, when I took this.

Oriole Marigold....LOL!

Hope Resin can ID you bird, burn.

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

Resin

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

LOL,I'm not alone on having really, really bad pics. and needing I.D.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

oh my....I haven't been able to get a good one all week of the Pileated!

I was pretty desperate trying to catch Mizzy (the Red-Bellied Woodpecker) feeding her baby at the Suet feeder today. No such luck. Though, the peanut suet feeder was a hit for everyone, I meant every bird. Even the House Finches and Titmice spent alot of time there.

I been waiting for a shot like this - and then this happens, arrghh

Hack

Hack, may I give that one a caption? "All deal is off! sniff sniff". I love that bird expression.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

This appears to be a couple Ravens (?) preening themselves near my Redheaded Woodpecker nesting tree. They made a call like "caw caw caw"! Man, I hate the thought they're too close to the nest.

Lily, thanks for the caption, but did you mean to type "All deal is off! sniff sniff".

"All"?, did you mean "Our"?

American Crows. They wouldn't be able to get into the woodpecker's hole, they're only a danger to birds with more open nests.

Resin

Hack, that was my error. I type like I 'talk' lately. I meant "All deals are OFF". I meant, she meant business. lol.

Oh Resin, that helps weight off of my shoulders. I was worried sick about the chicks. Though through observation. I knew the adult woodpeckers can hold their own. But the vulnerable chicks. Now I can sit back and relax. Thanks.

Sandusky, OH

Nice awful shots gang!! Not enough light to get the shutter speed fast enough to get into sharp focus. ISO was at 3200 lol.

Wow Burd, a pix like that would make me kiss my camera. lol. Oriole?
