I have a huge 20+ year old grapefruit tree in my backyard. Not too sure to his type. They are huge, orange, and only slighly bitter. Very nice grapefruit. Anyway, I have tried to graft orange and lemon onto this tree to get a bit more from him. I can't seem to get any grafts to take. Any suggestions? I have been trying T grafts.

Grafting help anyone?
I do not have any personal experience with grafting citrus, but i did find a wealth of info that may be of use to you.

Additionally, your county agent may have publications/info on grafting techniques in your area.
Thank you very much for the info. I think I may have to wait until next spring to try it again.
You are most welcome. Good luck
