Do I owe anyone anything?

Well, OK, I did ship 3 different kinds of plants, 2 of each, a week ago Monday. She said they weren't delivered, the USPS says they were, and I sent her the USPS confirmation by D-mail but haven't heard anything back though she has been here. Haven't gotten any plants in trade, either.

I guess some folks are lucky to get what they were promised, and the rest of us not. I'll leave appropriate feedback if I don't get something in a week or so. I'm just glad I didn't send anything valuable to go to waste.

This woman takes people's plants and postage and then attacks these "honest" people who sent their trades and got nothing in return.

With all of these posts why is this woman allowed to continue being part of this site? She should be banned from Dave's Garden?

She will never make good on all of the plants she owes the trusting souls who were ripped off, including me.

I would be happy with the money I spent on a large flat rate box.

I thought Terri was going to delete comments.

Oh, I misunderstood. I thought all posts after yours would be deleted. I think I'm done with all this trading stuff. Too much hassle. I'd rather just buy locally or support the local nursery since my friend owns it.

Dmosonyl, how are customs in your countriy?

As I only traded for some seeds it is very unlikely that a low value letter was held up by the authorities. But of course, this possibility can't be precluded.
I never had problems with low value postal matters coming from other countries anyway.

I hesitate to trade overseas, because of problems I've heard about. I hate it, because I'd like to trade with those folks too. I would like to be able to say that a plant I had came from ex Hungary.

It takes one week to get the mail from overseas, so for this reason I never trade live plants, they don't have the slightest chance to survive in a box. But there weren't any problems with seeds so far.

I trade Plants overseas and none of them arrive dead. I hear they look as if the were just dug upon receipt. So them being dead upon arrival is a misconception. And I trade seeds overseas and none of my seeds have ever been confiscated by the other party. Except one 6 years ago. Australia is one of the hardest places to receive seeds. I just sent 2 packages (last week to Australia) both with the contents on the custom forms and the person has been in receipt..cost me $2.44.

I DID trade with you. I sent you a box of iris, and you sent me a 'red' (hopefully) bush peony. I have been following this thread because 1. I did trade w you. 2. I wouldn't have had a second thought about trading w you again *except* for this thread.

Terry just posted 2 days ago that no more trades were to be set up until the existing trades were taken care of. It seems like a new thread asking for new trades was set up pretty quickly. I should have dmailed admin about the new trade offer. But I didn't think of it.

I too had a trade with lljjz which turned out pretty good. I've been watching this thread and know that I'm not supposed to post here since mine was completed timely and satisfactory. I think Marie should be commended for her continuing effort. I think most folks would not have renewed their subscription in her circumstances and disappeared from the forum. She seems to have tried to make good with the help of administrators and I'm glad to see she is taking responsibility.

I posted a positive feedback yesterday for her. My trade with her was good. A feedback can be changed I think, so if someone posted negative and wanted to change it to neutral/positive or add other comments later, I think you can?

Yep you sure can. I think you can only leave feedback once, but you can change/update it as many times as you want.

I received my trade this morning 2nd day air. Thanks for the plants!

I was notified by another friend about this lljjz person. If you look on other sites you will find lots of sites have BANNED her from their site due to this trade issue.

Glad you had an excellent trade. I arrange a trade with lljjz and sent my end and almost two months later I have NOTHING after five emails. I got an excuse which I thought "OK, anyone can have a glitch" but it's three weeks since my last communication with her after she told me that she was going to resend and I have no response and not mail...

I had a lousy trade with her. She did send me her end of our trade however it was NOT what the trade agreement was for. When I confronted her through email about it she said 'it was what she had'. Well sorry but you dont agree to a trade and then send what you want to. When we did the trade I was very specific in the details becase I needed a very specific kind of plastic pot. I told her at least 3 times during the trade emails to make sure she knew exactly what it was. She agreed to it then just send what she wanted to thinking I would just have to accept it. Well thankfully I did not send the Orchid I was going to give her till after I got her end first. I was not about to give my orchid for something we did not agree to. So she got all mad and sent me another email calling names and such.
A really pathetic trade.
