I received these yesterday and not sure how to plant. They look like sick carrots. Which end is up?

if unsure plant them side ways they will grow torward the light.

what are they any way?

First off, I would remove my personal email address. That's just me.

Second, I don't think it matters which way you plant it. Lay it sideways and it should grow fine. Orange Glory is Asclepias tuberosa. At least, the only one I know of.
