Beautiful color on the Suigetsu.
Your little Jasmine is a beauty. Adorable!!!

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Thank you, Jackie! I got to see Jasmine tonight and she is just the most beautiful baby in the whole world! :-) (And I am not one bit prejudice! LOL!) I spent most of the weekend working on cleaning out the garden beds in the back and am still not done! (sigh) So much to do and so little time! Speaking of which ... it is almost 2 am! Yikes! Off to bed ...

Helena, Lili, tony, Dany & Becky - all awesome mgs you've shared - thank you. The path of Karen-05's speckles is fascinating.

Thanks y'all for all the compliments on my blooms, but especially on my new granddaughter's photo! She is the most precious gem in my life! :-)

Tony - Nice going on that cross! Beautiful color of bloom and healthy looking vine!

Helena - You are getting lots of blooms at once on your vines, too! :-) Wonderful photos! This is my favorite time of year. Everything blooming and weather is not scorching hot yet ... though it's getting pretty close to that already here in May! I love the LYK cross! I hope you get seeds of that one. (Please keep me in mind if you do!) I really like the Tsukiyono blooms too! Awww heck! I like them all! How can you pick a favorite? You can't! They are all just amazing!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I agree..

Thanks Becky, Jackie, Karen and Debra. I'll be looking for lots of seeds from LYK for you Becky. Hope to get lots of seeds from the others too.

Scarlet Ohara getting ready to bloom. The fuzzy leaves seem to resist the hungry beetles. Should I try some fertilizer now, they seem healthy so far?

Haven't been checking this thread for awhile. Very busy planting
tomatoes and peppers. All I can say is Wow, everyone's MG's
are just beautiful..

patootie, I put 3 MG's in a hanging basket to see how it would turn
out. They have been growing very slowly. Maybe it's the soil. Anyway
I saw 2 blooms open in mid day. I marked it as Count Dracula. What
does it look like to you? Maybe I mislabeled it. It's pretty anyway.

That is beautiful!

Linda, Count Drac for sure and it's always slow growing at first,
matching your experience with this vine. When it starts blooming,
it's always worth the wait. Beautiful blooms.

Virginia Beach, VA(Zone 7b)

Thank you joeswife and patootie, it is pretty. For some reason I thought
it was going to be yellow. Don't know where I got that from.

Here's a photo of a shelf display for my JMGs. It is working out pretty well as long as I keep the vines bonsai pruned.

I plan to have a living fence to provide some privacy from my nasty neighbor. You can see the framework for the this fence (red colored wire frame) and the rows of containers will hold a couple kinds of sunflowers.
