Can clematis do well in a pot?

I have two "My Angel" and have planted one in the ground. Would like to plant the other in a container. Both are growing rapidly. Help

Yep, as long as the container is deep.

And remember that they like their feet to be cool, a spilling-type vine looks good in the pot with them.

How deep a pot should I use for a "My Angel" clematis? Would a Vinca work to keep roots cool?
