I have a container garden and was wondering if my rosebush and my azalea bush can coexist in the same large container?
roses and azaleas?
Roses generally like more sun than azaleas do so I don't know if they'd be the best combination for that reason. Also I'm not sure what type of soil roses need, but azaleas prefer acidic soil so that may be a difference too.
Have you thought about planting annuals with your perennials. I've been doing that with my containers and seems to work out better for me.
I've got mostly daylillys and the bright flowers light up the follage. Both roses and azalias are in the ground tho i've thought of trying the Azalia in a pot.
Good luck with your flowers.
