What can compliment roses in a new flower bed?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 6a)

I have recently started a new flower bed that is 4 1/2 feet by 17 feet. In the center I have planted a blue arctic willow standard( is tree form instead of shurb) witch will grow to be 4 to 6 feet tall as well wide. To the left is a Chrysler Imperial hybrid tea rose witch is red and to the right is a John F Kennedy hybrid tea rose witch is white. I am not sure what I should plant to compliment these plants. Any suggestions?

Thanks so much! The links gave me some ideas.

Also look around the neighborhood at gardens you like....see what plants neighbors use that appeal to you. Just make sure to give each plant its' proper spacing, and try to match water and light requirements to make the bed easier to maintain.

Thanks every one! I have made my choice. I placed three veronica " purpleicious" behind the blue arctic willow standard. I also placed two wormwood "silver mound" around the sides and one in the front of the standard. Flanking the ends are coral bells "plum pudding" and I poped in some assorted annuals. I am pleased with how the bed is coming along. Thanks again for all the suggestions they were very helpful.
