My Morning Glory Adventures May thru June
Beautiful blooms Debra.
My i. purpureas are really the first morning glorys besides heavenly blue I have ever grown. Until I met you guys here, that is all I knew existed. Thank you..
Really nice blooms Debra!!
Never heard of Goldflame, but it sure is lovely.
I know, Debra. I grew one kind two years in a row, but i think Ive got ten or eleven 3 or 5 gallon pots going now. and I'm not done. I'm pretty thankful too.
my nephew is going to get pickle buckets for me @ one of Mc place =)
That is great Phyl, they will do well there for ya!
My honeysuckles are all flushing right now, and things are looking very green.
Debra, Can't wait to see your yard by the middle of summer.
Will be amazing to say the least. I don't know how you do it and work too
Just beautiful and reflecting all your hard work.
I just sent rebecca home with a new Morning glory lover to be. I was showing her around when she came over to get some bamboo, and she was ohhing and awwing over the mgs, so I sent her home with that pot, and one of the blue and pink i. purps. She lives here in derby, ks and we met on yahoo groups wichita, when she asked about bamboo for a privacy fence, I told her to come and get it. While looking at my stuff, I decided she would make a good mom to a little of everything. While walking around , I found this: LOL
and, this is the one I was asking for on my wish list, that I grew last year from either liz or ronnie.. kawnii or kawaru or something like that. go figure, must have dropped some seeds in that same pot.
Debra - Love the blooms on Lazlo's mystery mix! I'm a fan of daylilies and love the ditch lilies! They grow well in my yard without spreading. :-) Your garden beds and yard are looking great! Nice to have Spring/Summer here now, isn't it? I could stand about 10 degrees cooler here though. LOL! Glad that your dh has allowed you some more space to grow more plants! :-) Keep inching your way around the yard and before you know it ... ;-)
here is the other side, there are 24 planting spaces in these trays, they are filled with rich compost and soil, pushed into the ground, and have been rained on. when I get the seeds out, I will tag each one and put a tall bamboo pole in them. there is space in between them for more support poles. I am still working on this project.
