Debra, Can't wait to see your yard by the middle of summer.
Will be amazing to say the least. I don't know how you do it and work too
Just beautiful and reflecting all your hard work.

I just sent rebecca home with a new Morning glory lover to be. I was showing her around when she came over to get some bamboo, and she was ohhing and awwing over the mgs, so I sent her home with that pot, and one of the blue and pink i. purps. She lives here in derby, ks and we met on yahoo groups wichita, when she asked about bamboo for a privacy fence, I told her to come and get it. While looking at my stuff, I decided she would make a good mom to a little of everything. While walking around , I found this: LOL
and, this is the one I was asking for on my wish list, that I grew last year from either liz or ronnie.. kawnii or kawaru or something like that. go figure, must have dropped some seeds in that same pot.

North wing garden, new Hydrangea and Hucheras.. too bad the Hydrangea is so happy there, it is not a big enough area for it, will leave it in the pot until fall and plant it out back. There is a huge fir tree over this spot..

Last year I had mgs growing up and over the brick wing, as well as the glory lilly vine. I moved the Nadina domestica to this corner. I took out some bamboo. There are mg seedlings at the end to train up the plastic mesh I will put up like last year.

Debra - Love the blooms on Lazlo's mystery mix! I'm a fan of daylilies and love the ditch lilies! They grow well in my yard without spreading. :-) Your garden beds and yard are looking great! Nice to have Spring/Summer here now, isn't it? I could stand about 10 degrees cooler here though. LOL! Glad that your dh has allowed you some more space to grow more plants! :-) Keep inching your way around the yard and before you know it ... ;-)

My bottle brush shrub is happy here, and so are the brugs in the ditch lilly patch, under the honey suckle

Thanks, Becky, I am so excited.. I have made ready the spot where I am growing more mg seeds from the swap.. it is in the alley behind my dog run, but I go out there every day at least twice to look at things. Here is the set up so far..( one side)

Thumbnail by joeswife
(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

here is the other side, there are 24 planting spaces in these trays, they are filled with rich compost and soil, pushed into the ground, and have been rained on. when I get the seeds out, I will tag each one and put a tall bamboo pole in them. there is space in between them for more support poles. I am still working on this project.
