My Morning Glory Adventures May thru June

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

we came from here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1085608/#new
It has been a busy month with lots of wind and rain and work. Today I went out to an area that is about to be developed, about a half mile from my house, to dig up some whole plants of Calystegia macounii ... hedge bindweed. It is so pretty. They have been developing all around us on the edge of town and these things get turned under ..

There used to be a huge honey locust tree there just two years ago. *sigh* I miss that tree, and the grass area does too
This view is really going to change. The vines are all up and climbing in the barrells. .

everything looks so green. just as it is here.

anyone recognize this? I had two jugs marked butterfly pea vine and this is clearly not the same as the other one. I hope its a climbing vine, but I'd love to know what it is.

Debra, my seeds from you are ready to plant this week. the evening primrose.

Phyl, that looks like a kalanchoe to me. They grow fast and bloom in autumn.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Debra - Your outdoor garden is starting to shape up nicely! Now the growing starts taking off and thje blooms will come if they haven't already! I look forward to see how it all progresses! Another good year ... no doubt! :-)

Phyl - Debra might be correct. Your unknown plant does resemble Kalanchoe leaves and habit.

This is the north end of the patio kind of in the middle.. That brug is one I grew from seed from Phicks.. it is a cherubXberkonigan.. everywhere I keep finding tomatoes, I ma just potting them up to give away, and when the potaote patch becomes available, I will move some of the vines to that location as well as some of the tomatoes .

Those are american bell flowers, I grew them from seeds. They are very tall. I am sad to say they have grown into the bamboo back there, or vice veri.. someone is coming over this week to take the bamboo I am cutting out.
Here is another pot I put together.. Marine Heliotrope with dark Angel dahlias, and.. yes, mg seeds in the empty spots.

I couldn't find my tag on this one, and I know I had a tag, but the winds and storms here have done their job.. It is either beckys willow, or I. jagurii.. ( spelled wrong)
