2010 Garden Photos - Part 11

First rose buds this year, taken this am, David Austin's 'Margarita', a climbing rose.

I have a big JPF too. In fact I have about 6 of them. Just love them. Your little blue flower looks like some kind of Hyacinth or Squill. BEV

Jap Maple I transplanted and trimmed the roots two weeks ago, shot taken this last Friday.

Tiny blooms from decorative cabbage, (don't know why but I'm particularly taken with these...)

Jap maple 'Red Dragon', about 2yrs old and 5' across, I just leave it to it's own devices and don't mess with it. (lol)

Redbud, it's 2nd year here, about 8' tall.

Small 12x12 garden to the right, ('new', still in the works started it last year), DW to the left trimming around her hibiscus plants.

No one follows directions anymore... (lol)

Great shots, WC! Clems are real nice. I lost Pink Champagne. The noid is very nice. The jm's and redbud look great.

What is the purpose of the screen on the bonsai pot??

(OneWish1: the chipmunk on the fountain is great, along with the titmouse looking through the bird feeder.)

Good stuff everyone. Love the critter shots and that tree peony is a real eye catcher. Your containers are looking good onewish. Haven't even thought about those yet but soon it will mean a trip for tomatoes and annuals.

rody doesn't look too good this year

My rhodies have very few blooms this year, too. Just a large white one is covered, the rest are sparse. Thanks for posting the amsonia, Victor....I have one, & had no idea what it was. Went to Agway for Neem oil, came back with annuals for my pots.

My rhodedendron only has 50% of its normal buds this year. I wonder what happened?
