Thanks, Cousin Nut, on the plaque. You have a lot of very prettiful things going on at your place now. My dahlias are up and looking nice. Been lucky so far, not frost. I think we may be almost safe here. Just checked the extended forecast, and now frosty temps in it. Love that cactus dahlia bloom!

Allison, I love that plectranthus with the gold edged leaf. I have grown that one before, and it sure is a pretty one.

Rama nice assortment of blooms out your way too. My peony only have buds now but will be open soon. Hope they are as nice as yours.The wind has been whipping things about here too. Should be a lot calmer today.

Thanks Patti. I gave my sister that lives in Ashland, MA the same peonies and a felix. She has some buds and couldnt believe that mine are almost done blooming. Our house smells divine with a bunch of peonies in every room and one rouge royale rose which is absolutely stunning and so fragrant.

... just some casual shots I took this am. ( I took them and loaded them in the computer and then spent ½ hr searching for them after I re-sized them, - still have to get all the links in my new 'puter setup, UGH!! (☺)

I'll start with 2 NOiDs

Clematis, one of my first four that I got from Dutch gardens years ago - (I now have 21 clematis vines, go figure...)

Some Blue little 'thingyies' that I bought from Brent & Beckys last year. I gave them 50/50 odds of coming up, since they're so delicate and I neglected to put a name tag on them. - they all came up!

Clematis Pink Champagne, (first ones to bloom, it beat Bee's Jubilee this year)

Clem Montana Elizabeth, has about 100+ blooms

Clem Montana Grandiflora, (very similar to the above but larger blooms & less plentiful).

Clem Blue moon, (shade clematis, blooms are a little more than 5" across)

Peony Crazy Daisy, (looking forward to this one, it's the first bloom on a plant I planted 2yrs ago)

Golden Chain tree blooms

Japanese Painted Fern, (this one is 3ft wide with a root ball 2'x1' deep, weighs about 20lbs. (I know I transplanted it last year, it's now so large it's drought resistant!)

An unflattering shot of 'Red Dragon', (got two clumps this year and am trying to establish a small colony, I like the leaves...)
