Hello,
Not sure which category I should put this in...
I have a question and I hoping someone can answer. My sister just gave me an evening primrose plant. It is the common kind I believe with the yellow flowers. I live in a townhouse that is rented. I would like to know if it is possible to grow an evening primrose plant in a pot of some sort. I really cant put them in the ground nor do I want to (in case we were to ever move i would take them with me and put in ground). A couple years ago I had some bleeding hearts I was given and had the same issue. I have them in big pots and they have done GREAT! Come back each year. I am really hoping that the evening primrose will be the same way.
Anyone who can help me would be great!
thanks
Growing evening primrose in a pot
Yes, Ma'am, you can grow them in containers and they do quite well. Here is a bit of info for you. Just remember that they need protection from the mid-day sun and heat and do best with morning sun/dappled shade.
