Daffs are still poofin out all about. O I feel a poohum breaking out:

O how I walk about in shame
To be so slow and have a name
that sings and speaks of sprouts
and stuff and dahlias. O but enough!
I shall not lag or be bethused
because I know you are enthused
and WAY about this stuff so grand
I jus willl share your joy cuz I can.

I have two of these. This one scoffed at the winter weather, the other one is barely a foot and a half tall. They're only planted about ten feet from each other. Go figure

Thanks, if I could only have one rose, that would be the one.

Pitch pines against the oncoming Tstorm sky. The sky gets that odd color just before the deluge. Jack described it as unripened cantloupe. I think he nailed it perfectly.

Jack nailed it! Our T-storms came about midnight, but were not severe. Dnut, thanks for the poem....your tulips are very pretty. Jo, the more I see that geum, the more I like it. Weeze, the roses & clems are gorgeous....my roses are just showing color....here is Baby Love, with a few blooms.

Great shots, NuttyD, Jo, Robin and Weeze!

The anemone foliage looks like geranium, Nutty!

Like those light blue iris, Jo. What's their name?

Great Black Lace flower, Weeze. Mine have been underwhelming for years now.

Nice noid, Robin.

I'll start a new thread.

ooh, ooh, Allison.....Yes! The astilbe you brought of Randy's DID make it!!! It's tag was lost over the winter, so I had a big question mark in my mind as to whether I had moved that clump there from another garden or not. I just looked on my "map" of that garden in front of the front porch, and there it is!!!! Your astilbe, which is so much more exciting than mine!!!! Whew! And thank you and Randy soooooo much! I can't wait for it to bloom! That garden it's now in will be such an improvement over the ferny mess that had choked out everything before I dug it all up and made it mostly a DG friendship garden. I also found the pretty hosta that JoAnn brought. Its label had also been raked away when they did the leaves in our beds. It is in the new back bed in front of that huge rock. I even found some strawflowers from Amy from 2 years ago, and it made me a bit sad that she has left us.

I planted so many things today. The girls were out in the yard with me, and they have turned out to be boys, I think. They love nothing more than being as scraggly as any two puppies could be, and they eat everything they can find under the ground. They are such roughnecks I can hardly believe they could be girls! They came running up for a kiss and their mouths and whiskers were black with dirt. Yuk. I expect them to start lifting their legs any day now.

JoAnn - I'm so laughing at your comment that Patti and I are girly girls....if you could only see me now!! LOL Cherry's fine though! LOL LOL Nice list of new plants!!!

Marilyn - Marie Louise Jensen is very pretty!

Weez - I'm so glad you posted that pretty bloom from Black Lace. Like Victor's, mine is also underwhelming me! It sure could use a pretty bloom like that on it!

Dahlia dear - so, you are a poetess as well as a funky dancer huh??? Liked your poem and also liked your stripedness!!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh yeah.... I am so happy they made it... and Randy said your welcome

Very nice, Allison. I'll definitely post a pic when it blooms. Tomorrow your Greek Oregano goes in the ground here. I brought a piece from Fla. and its doing great in its little pot. Sure does well as a cutting!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Quite a collection of nice plants, Allison. Louise, my female airedale, Jazz, always lifted her leg to pee!

Nice!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

one or two cuttings might be able to jump in a certain box

:)

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

LOL, Marilyn! We cross-posted. My "nice" was directed at Allison's plants, not the fact that your Jazz lifted her leg. As to that ......I'll just say, "Nice!" LOL Actually, Carli does a sort of hybrid move......Bailey is a drama queen when she squats....nice topic, huh? LOL

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Refrigerator sized box????? LOL Very cool!
